This policy explains how Rover Construction Pty Ltd (ABN 34 654 850 558), trading as Rover Capsule Homes, handles personal information. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect only what we need to quote, sell, deliver and support a building: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and site access details, and the content of any enquiry you send us. If you place an order we also hold the order record and the tax invoice. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored by us.
How we use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange delivery, meet our warranty obligations, and keep the records the law requires us to keep. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except where it is necessary to fulfil your order — for example, giving a transport contractor the delivery address, or the factory the specification for your unit.
Marketing
We will only send you marketing email if you have asked for it. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link that works.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, including the shopping cart. If we use analytics to understand how the site is used, that data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may then not work.
Storage and security
Information is held on our website host and in our business systems, protected by access controls. Some of our suppliers, including the Rover factory, are located overseas; where we need to send information offshore to fulfil an order, we send only what is necessary.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
